Dark plum, peppercorn, cedar, orange rind, underbrush, blackberry, currant + light lilies on nose.  A bright palate, with dark blackberries, cedar box + sweet oranges.  No more than 10% to 15% of the juice ages in well-seasoned oak barrels, resulting in the fresh profile of this wine.  Bodega Santa Julia was created in honor of Julia Zuccardi, part of the third generation of leaders from the Zuccardi Family, focusing on sustainability of the land, the people and the community including organic farming, compost production, bottling in lightweight glass, and solar power in the winery.
